The key difference between keratin bond and micro bond hair extensions lies in the attachment process. Keratin bonds use a keratin-based adhesive fused with heat to create a strong, lasting bond. In contrast, micro bonds are smaller, hand-formed keratin resin bonds that are discreet and versatile, providing a more natural and seamless finish.

While the micro bond method is more intricate and time-consuming due to the smaller size of the bonds, it offers a more discreet and lightweight result. Because of the additional labour involved, micro bonds tend to be slightly more expensive than the traditional keratin bond method.
